The Broad-scale Fisheries Monitoring program collects information from representative lakes in fisheries management zones across the province to help biologists manage our fisheries effectively. This bulletin provides a snapshot of recent monitoring activities and netting results. The sampling approach allows us to measure and evaluate the health of Ontario’s lakes and their fish communities, and track changes through time over broad areas of Ontario.

Come and join us on Saturday July 25th for this year’s Poker Run. All the proceeds from this event will go to the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation for the improvement of hospital services and is one way that we, KAPOA members, can contribute to the community.
The negotiators have now initialed and publicly released a proposed Agreement-in-Principle. It incorporates their negotiated changes to the Preliminary Draft Agreement-in-Principle. The changes made are based on information received by all three parties through the consultation process.
