KAPOA’s executive reminds the membership that this coming Saturday, May 23, Hastings Highlands Council is hosting a public meeting regarding information on the VEGETATIVE BUFFER BYLAW.
The bylaw affects the use of all waterfront properties in the township. KAPOA strongly recommends that as many as possible of its members attend.
The session will be held in the gymnasium of the Township Municipal offices at 9 am.

On Wednesday, April 15 the Hastings Highlands Municipal Council voted to postpone the advertised VEGETATIVE BUFFER BYLAW information meeting from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 23 @ 9:00 am. This postponement was at the request of a member of Council and the rationale was that the postponement will allow for a greater number of property owners to attend the meeting. A copy of the proposed wording of the bylaw will be forwarded as soon as it is made available.
