Regatta: This Saturday at Hinterland
Join us on Saturday July 30 th at Hinterland beach for the annual KAPOA regatta. The registration desk opens at noon. Sailing races begin at 1pm.
We are always in need for new volunteers to step forward. Can you give us an hour of your time on regatta day? Contact Kerra at klwylie@sympatico.ca to help.
Please plan to bring a few extra dollars to buy a regatta t-shirt, a snack at the BBQ and 50/50 tickets. Last year’s 50/50 winner took home $410. For more information, visit the Regatta page for details.
Reminder: Boat Safe and Protect our Wildlife
We’ve received a number of reports of fast moving boats and jet skis endangering loon families on the lake and Madawaska river. Please keep a safe distance away from wildlife and protect their habitats.
