New E-Mail Newsletter
With the enormous success of our website, a KAPOA E-Mail letter seemed to be the appropriate next step. The introductory issue hit cyberspace in May and we hope to make it a monthly forum for the exchange of ideas and information.
Submissions are welcomed and we are open to suggestions for a more imaginative title.
This membership would like to extend a heart felt “thank you” to all those who helped bring this association into the 21st Century, namely; John Maiurro and John Junior for their work establishing our website and Tom McKennell our E-Mail Letter editor.

The Association has recently purchased 3 water testing kits from the Ministry of Natural Resources. We hope to get a better handle on the health of our lake and any long term trends we may be experiencing.
Testing needs to be done every 2 weeks throughout the summer months at a variety of locations. If you are interesting in volunteering for this very important job please contact your local Board Member.

Letter from the President
As we look forward to another summer season, I find myself looking back over the last two years when I had the privilege of serving this membership as president. I enjoyed myself very much but feel it is time to step aside.
I am a lake, land and wilflife man and computers, website and e-mail are not exactly my forte. This organization is changing and evolving, as it should, to meet the demands of a new millennium and I feel there are others more suited to this reality.
I would like to thank all those Board Members who made my job easier over the years. Your patience and support was appreciated more than you know.
Moreover, I would like to thank all those who volunteered their time and talents to this organization. Volunteers are a valued and vital cog in this associations machine and I would encourage everyone to give a litty of themselves to help KAPOA grow and thrive.
I extend best wishes to our new President-to-be and all KAPOA members and their families for a safe and happy summer season.
